Stone surrounds come in many different stones and designs. From the smooth finish of Portuguese limestone to the ever-increasingly popular coarser finishes of sandstone, stone continues to be the material of choice for many new homes.

The surrounds in our showroom are shown with variety of different fires and most of them can be adapted to fit different styles of fire and usually the openings can be altered to the appropriate size.

We're happy to offer personalized guidance on selecting the ideal fireplace style that suits your home, all while considering your budget and available space. Apart from stone fireplaces we also stock marble and wood fireplaces.

We cover areas within a 20 mile radius of our showroom (346-348 Oxford Road, Reading, Berkshire). The main areas we cover are: Reading, Maidenhead, Henley, Ascot, Bracknell, Wokingham, Newbury, Thatcham and Basingstoke.

Unfortunately we only offer installation on fireplaces purchased through our showroom.

Stone fireplaces do not need a certificate on their own, but the appliance installed in them may require a Gas Safe (gas fires/stoves) or HETAS (solid fuel fires/stoves) certificate which will be provided following the installation.

If you do not want a stone fireplace we also stock marble and wood fireplaces. You can view these in our showroom.

Yes, once you’ve decided what you want us to put in, we'll carry out a technical survey, to make sure everything fits and can be installed safely by our qualified Gas Safe and HETAS engineers.

Yes, we have a driveway between ourselves and the White Eagle pub garden or you can use the Tesco development which is accessible from Portman Road. Park and walk up to Oxford Road, with Tesco on your right, and turn left. We're a few doors down.

Yes, there is a ramp leading through the double doors into the showroom.

For general cleaning, give the fireplace an overall wipe with a damp sponge using clean water. Stubborn stains can be removed by a light sanding with a very fine sandpaper or emery cloth, followed by washing as previously described. Stone fireplace cleaners are also available. Accidental spillages should be washed off with plain water before they are allowed to dry out. Candles are best kept away from the fireplace as the wax will mark the stone and would be difficult to remove. With more serious problems, our team are on hand to offer advice.

Mum and I visited a few months ago and were assisted by a young gentleman (I've forgotten his name, sorry). He politely greeted us, answered some questions, and left us to to browse, before assisting us with putting in an order. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and lovely. Prior to this we had also called as mum has mobility issues and we were unsure of parking, and he said we could pull up in the staff parking area. We later interacted with Sam and our fitter, Graham, and his colleague.
