Berkshire Fireplace Centre has a huge range of fireside accessories in store suitable for use with a real fire or simply to decorate the hearth of a gas or electric fire. This includes companion sets, buckets, fireguards, hods, solid fuel kits, fenders and a wide range of over-mantel mirrors and ornaments.

We have a wide range of products to help you care for your fireplace. This includes touch up paint for stoves, grates and ceramic coals and cleaning products for stone, metal, marble and stove glass.

A moisture meter measures the amount of water in your logs to ensure they have less than a 20% moisture content. Not only will you get a better flame on your fire with well-dried wood, but it will also be easier to light and emit less particulate matter when used in an Eco Design appliance, so we're all helping the environment. Dry wood also reduces the buildup of sooty deposits in the flue which could lead to a chimney fire.

Mum and I visited a few months ago and were assisted by a young gentleman (I've forgotten his name, sorry). He politely greeted us, answered some questions, and left us to to browse, before assisting us with putting in an order. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and lovely. Prior to this we had also called as mum has mobility issues and we were unsure of parking, and he said we could pull up in the staff parking area. We later interacted with Sam and our fitter, Graham, and his colleague. All were lovely and we were particularly impressed and grateful when Graham picked up on my hesitancy post fitting and fed back, meaning Sam realised there had been a mistake/miscommunication with the order, and they proactively contacted us to fix.
