Fireplace installation in Thatcham

Fires, stoves and fireplaces fitted in Thatcham

Berkshire Fireplace Centre has provided fireplace, fire and stove services across Reading and the surrounding areas, Thatcham included, since 1998. Every installation is carried out by Gas Safe and HETAS registered engineers and certified on completion.

A survey establishes what your home and flue need before anything is ordered or installed.

Around Thatcham

As well as Thatcham itself, we cover Cold Ash — and anywhere else within 20 miles of Reading.

How it works in Thatcham

Since our Reading showroom closed on 31 March 2026 we work entirely from in-home consultations. That is genuinely better news if you are in Thatcham: instead of driving to Reading to see a range, the range comes to you — brochures, finish samples and someone who has fitted these appliances for 25 years.

The consultation is free, the technical survey afterwards is free, and there is no obligation at the end of either.

What we install

• Fireplaces — stone, marble and wood surrounds, sized to your opening
• Fires — gas, electric and solid fuel, including hole-in-the-wall and inset
• Stoves — wood burning, multi-fuel, gas and electric
• Media walls — surveyed before the joinery goes up, not after
• Servicing — annual Gas Safe servicing for gas fires and stoves
