Why we closed the showroom
The showroom told you what we had in stock. Your living room tells you what will actually work.
A surround looks different under showroom lighting than it does against your own wall, next to your own floor, in your own light. So since March we have brought the brochures and fireplace samples to you instead.
At the same visit we look at the space, the chimney and the style of the house, so the practical questions are answered before you choose — not after you have ordered. And Newbury, Henley or Ascot get exactly the same service as a house around the corner from the old shop.

A call, and a few questions
What room, what fuel, whether there's a working chimney, and roughly what you have in mind. A short call tells us whether we can help before anyone books anything.

We come to you
A visit to your home with detailed brochures and fireplace samples. We look at the space, the chimney and the style of the house, measure the opening and check the hearth.

Your quote
A quote for the appliance and the installation work, based on what the survey found — with the chance to ask anything before you decide.

Installation
We contact you when your fireplace arrives and arrange a convenient date. Our engineers take responsibility for the whole installation, and leave the room clean and tidy.

Certificate
When the job is complete you receive a certificate — Gas Safe for gas, HETAS for solid fuel — confirming the installation meets the regulations. Keep it safe for when you sell.
